surprised in a positive way. smooth, larger than standard robusto at 55 ring. it’s almost a chubby and at only £13 it wasn’t bad at all. something to smoke casually with your friends when there is no cause for celebration.
i, too, received this as a surprise cigar (£10 for a £15+) and, i was definitely surprised. i have never purposely ordered one of these and after trying it i will continue to never do so in the far future.
it’s difficult for me to review these. if you are 18 and celebrating finishing college they are brilliant for you and the local boys. if you are yet to start smoking cigars they are a fine step up from cigarettes and superior as is almost everything compared to cigarettes. but are they good? not…
for some reason i just assumed it was glass or something. alas, plastic. it doesn’t feel majorly cheap however, just slightly. but at £6 what should i expect, it is also much larger than i expected and very easy to clean. it a very good group-ashtray.
not much to say to be honest. is it a high quality masterpiece? no. it’s a cheap plastic stand that does exactly what you need it to. holds your pipe, looks fine. don’t be too heavy handed else it likely to snap.
one of my favourites by far. i’m not majorly experimental when it comes to tobacco however, but petersons never seems to disappoint. would always recommend to new comers at the minimum, as a solid entry point.
