Meet the Team

Laura Bitters

I head up our Ecommerce Department, responsible for the continued development of our websites. We are always updating and improving features and functionality to provide our customers with the best possible online shopping experience.

We are now on version 12 of our website, which has been designed entirely in-house. We hope we've retained a personal feel throughout the design, while avoiding unnecessary flashy graphics and slow-loading pages.

I'm based at our Norfolk offices, where we continue to focus on delivering a smooth, enjoyable online experience for our customers.

Michelle Adler

I am responsible for just about everything and everyone at C.Gars Ltd! I head up the Sales Team and am based at our London offices.

I was trained at Hunters & Frankau Cigar School and have visited Cuba a number of times to get a better understanding of the cigar industry.

I am also the photography buff, new products decision maker, cigar smoker, Man Friday and problem solver for the M.D.

Paul Hindmarch

I joined the C.Gars team in 2016 and my role since has been varied and incorporates many different aspects of the organisation.

This includes vendor management across both Premium Cigars and Spirits, Brand & Product management of Snowdonia Distillery, oversight & compliance of our bonded facilities and Special Project Management.

With 20+ years involved in the Premium Cigars & Spirits industry, I have been fortunate to travel and meet many of the industry leaders and work to share not only their passion but my own for these fine products that we put to the market.

Luiz Murano

With many years experience in the private/retail industry of premium cigars and a Masters of Habanos it is my pleasure to bring this expertise to C.Gars Ltd.

With C.Gars Ltd pushing more towards a luxurious landscape, I will be spearheading this operation across our stores in the UK and Europe, instilling the mastery that I have learnt over the years to all locations in the company.

Sara Mckinnon

I am the Retail Operations Manager for Turmeaus stores across the UK, having joined C.Gars and Turmeaus Tobacconist at the end of 2014 and have enjoyed contributing to a fantastic team.

I live to find the perfect pairing of alcohol and cigars but my tipple of choice has always been Champagne!

I am loving trying the selection of New-World and Cuban cigars but lately has enjoyed the Orchant Seleccion line of Oliva cigars.

Roy Price

I have been a member of the Management team since 2016 but have been a Turmeaus and C.Gars customer for over 20 years.

I am proud to be the dedicated Manager of Turmeaus Tobacconist Chester, La Casa del Habano Chester and our Cgars Leeds Store.

Some of my favourite Cuban cigars include the Sancho Panza Belicosos and the Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill.

My favourite new world cigars include the Padron 1926 Series No. 9 Maduro, A.J. Fernandez New World Decenio Toro, and my current favourite is the Davidoff Puro Dominicano Perfecto.

Raluca Maroiu

I joined the CGars team in 2016 and currently serve as both the Spirits Specialist and the Store Manager at our Liverpool location.

With a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship behind premium cigars and spirits, I am dedicated to upholding the highest standards of service and expertise.

Passionate about the intricate details of both cigars and whisky, I am always available to assist customers with inquiries, ensuring a personalised and exceptional experience for every guest.

Christopher Dickson

I've worked for the company for 4 years and fell in love with cigars. The thing I love about cigars most is how every separate component can influence flavour profile i.e Terroir , the leaves that are used and the blending process, the possibilities are truly endless, which I find so fascinating. I've had the pleasure of attending Cognac with Remy Martin and Nicaragua with Tor Imports, I've never worked for a company before where I feel so valued.

Dante Gabilo

Joining in 2021, learning and experiencing every facet of the Cigar, Spirits and hospitality industry at C.Gars Ltd has been a constant.

During my time in the company I have managed our London branches, represented C.Gars throughout the U.K/around the world, trained colleagues, opened new retail locations and received a Master of Havana Cigars from Hunters & Frankau.

Karolina Cisnaj

I joined C.Gars Ltd in 2016 and have since proudly transitioned from the online and fulfillment team to Shop Manager at Turmeaus Mayfair.

With a passion for premium cigars, I ensure the shop is exceptionally well-stocked with a wide variety of Cuban and New World cigars, as well as quality pipe tobacco.

Committed to providing friendly, knowledgeable service, I strive to create a genuinely welcoming atmosphere for all our lovely customers.

Declan MacFarlane

I joined C.Gars & Puffin Rooms Edinburgh in 2023 after moving here from South Africa. I have immersed myself in every aspect of the premium cigar, whisky and hospitality industry.

As General Manager, I oversee the venue's day-to-day operations, leading an exceptional team to deliver outstanding customer experiences while maintaining the highest service standards.

My role has allowed me to develop expertise across retail, lounge operations, events, team development and client relations, ensuring every guest enjoys the unique experience Puffin Rooms is known for.

Imogen Wright

Based in our Norfolk office, I joined C.Gars in 2015.

I now oversee and manage stock levels of our entire range of spirits both online and in store as well as ensuring any and all new products are made available for our customers to purchase as soon as we receive them.

At C.Gars, not one day is the same and that's what I love about working here!

Liam Hetherington

With over a decade of experience in the cigar industry, I began my journey in 2013 as an apprentice at CGars.

From those early days, I gained hands-on experience across every aspect of the business.

As my career progressed, I developed a strong interest in marketing and social media, which ultimately led me to my current role as Marketing Manager.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to sample a wide variety of cigars. My personal favourites include the Charatan London 160th Anniversary Special Edition and the Aladino Corojo Corona, both paired with Stalla Dhu Auchroisk.

Kim Moy

I joined CGars in 2020 as a Customer Care Assistant and was later given the opportunity to change roles and became the Orders Manager which involves dealing with online orders and liaising with all the shops to make sure these are all shipped as efficiently as possible.

So if you've ever ordered online there's a chance I've come across it!

Hayley Hooker

I started with C.Gars in early 2019, based in our Norfolk branch as a Customer Care Advisor and helping in the mail order department.

I now head up the Customer Care team and deal with all enquiries whether that be by email, phone or live chat.

Throughout my time with C.Gars I have developed a great deal of knowledge in the world of cigars, tobacco and spirits, and I am always happy to help!

Lewis Hearn

Starting in 2019 as an apprentice, I worked in various departments, from the orders team to marketing.

I enjoy creating fun and engaging content for you all to enjoy via our YouTube channel, hosting tasting events at our Norfolk location and getting to meet so many wonderful people!

My favourite cigar is currently the Tabernacle David by Foundation Cigars, and I love to pair it with a latte.

Billie Ray-Palmer

I began my journey with the company in 2021 in the mail order department, ensuring all online purchases were processed and delivered.

In 2022, I transitioned into the role of website administrator, where I oversaw cigar listings and added new products to our website.

In March 2025, I moved into the marketing department, focusing on our digital content and campaigns, and in March 2026 transitioned into my current role as Marketing Executive.

Oliver Partington

I joined the team in November 2019, starting in order fulfilment while also working weekends in the shop. During that time, I spent countless hours in the humidor building my knowledge and passion for cigars. When the opportunity arose to move into the shop full-time, I embraced it and continued developing my expertise.

Today, I work exclusively within the humidor as a dedicated Humidor Assistant, ensuring optimal conditions, maintaining stock quality, and upholding the highest standards of presentation and care. I also contribute articles to our cigar library, sharing knowledge and insights with fellow enthusiasts.

Sharon Beales

I started with the team in 2021 as a Mail Order Administrator, a role I absolutely loved and where I learned so much about the business. When the opportunity came up to move into retail, I was excited to step into a more customer-facing role and really enjoyed my time on the shop floor and at our Norfolk sampling events.

Now, I am working as a Mail Room Assistant, making sure orders are processed carefully and sent out smoothly. I love being part of the team that keeps everything running perfectly behind the scenes!
