  • The Spanish name El Rey del Mundo translates to King of the World. The brand traces its roots back to 1848, when German businessman Emilio Ohmstedt founded it alongside Sancho Panza. Around 1882, Antonio Allones took over and elevated its prestige using prime Vuelta Abajo tobacco.
  • Following the revolution, production continued under government control. While still loved, its lighter flavour profile led to a dip in popularity when global trends shifted toward bolder cigars.
  • - Choix Supreme (Hermosos No. 4) - The most iconic format, approximately 5" x 48, highly sought after by connoisseurs.
