History

The Quintero brand was founded in the 1920s in Cienfuegos, a port city in the Las Villas province of Cuba, where the Quintero brothers opened a small chinchal (workshop). Thanks to its growing reputation, the factory relocated to Havana in 1940, where production began using tobacco exclusively from the renowned Vuelta Abajo region. Originally celebrated for its machine-made and hand-finished cigars, Quintero has since evolved into a fully handmade brand, continuing its tradition of robust, flavourful Cuban smokes at a modest price.
