History

Founded in 1885 by the Sociedad Cabañas y Castro and acquired by José F. Rocha in 1905, La Gloria Cubana was crafted initially at 364 Miguel Street in Havana. After Rocha’s passing in 1954, the brand passed to the Cifuentes family and was transferred to the Partagás Factory, where it remains crafted today. La Gloria Cubana cigars quickly became a celebrated export brand and are still sought after by enthusiasts for their complexity and legacy.
