Partagas 170th Anniversary Lusitanias - 1 Single Cigar
Date Added: Tuesday 08 May, 2018
A good Lusitania with perfect construction, draw and burn and a steadily increasing richness from mild-med to med-full by the last third. Rather ugly, spotty wrappers but still oily and well made. Smoked cool and even to the last inch. Very creamy, balanced and a nice subtle complexity. Light wood, sweet leather and a gentle exotic spice predominate. I cant give 5 stars simply because the added price for them being from an anniversary humidor isnt quite worth it compared to a good regular Lusitania. More for collectors or just a special gift etc.

Inka Secret Blend - Blue Bombaso Natural Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 07 May, 2018
Cracking cigar. Lovely and smooth. Slight pepper on the retrohale. Burnt evenly and a good construction. Will be getting more. This inka was way better than the red I had(but I believe the red I had must have been a rogue, because it was really bitter. Yuk). This has restored my faith in the brand.

Leon Jimenes Petit Corona Blond Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 07 May, 2018
As a newbie to cigars i bought these and tried one night with a friend. We were both surprised with the sweetness that greets you initially and the milder snoke was not harsh at all. I will definately be ordering these again in the future. The vanilla tones were there throughout the smoke which lasted around 30mins and complimented the strong black coffee we had with them. A great addition to anybodies humidor.

Montecristo Edmundo Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 06 May, 2018
A delightful cigar, consistent from the first to the last lamented draw. Cedar, leather and pepper, along with a cool sweetness that is totally wonderful on the palate. When In search of the mythical never ending cigar, youd want it to be like this, never harsh and always communicating its provdence from every easy pull. So much so that despite being an infrequent cigar smoker, today I felt the need to smoke another cigar later in the day. Sadly it wasnt an Edmundo, but a giant slayer in the guise of a Jose Piedra, whilst not as sublime as the Monte, scratched the itch that it had left me with. Id give the Edmundo a 4.5, its not a No2 but it is an undeniably good smoke and one that should be a go to on a warm summers day when relaxation with no hassle is what is required. Some have said that the burn is a little uneaven, yes maybe slightly, but never did it canoe or become something that dominated the smoke. I know that I often say this, but Id urge you to try this wonderful cigar should you get the chance.

Davidoff Club Cigarillos Cigar - Pack of 10
Date Added: Sunday 06 May, 2018
I hated these when I first opened them - dry hard to pull and tasteless. Very unsatisfactory. I thought Davidoff were aiming below silk cut. I gave a pack to a friend & he independently said the same thing. BUT after leaving them in a humidor for a fortnight they have turned out really nicely. rich and tasty but no cloying aftertaste - moreish. The lesson is cheapies must be moistened up for a while before lighting up.
