H. Upmann Coronas Minor Tubed Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 20 May, 2018
I received this cigar as part of a sampler. Found this to be quite a frustrating smoke, the cigar was very tightly packed and almost impossible to draw from. it seemed to be very mild but there was so little smoke I feel my experience is not the norm given other reviews. Wrapper also began to come apart around half way down the stick. I gave up at 2/3. I guess i was just unlucky with this example.

Henri Wintermans Tubed Coronas Deluxe Sumatra - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 13 May, 2018
Easy light, even burn and nice draw. Thats it. Cheap looking nasty wrapper with tonnes of veins and knots in it. Its a cheap smoke for a reason. After one third it tasted like a damp ashtray. Full of tarry flavours and absolutely zero subtlety. I didnt get much further down it because simply put it was horrible. After I put it out I opened it up out of curiosity and I wasnt shocked. Yes its short fill tobacco but thats no excuse for it to look like left over leaves after an autumn sweep up. Considering the other smokes available for a few quid more there really isnt any other reason to buy this other than you cant get to a decent tobacconist or wait on delivery. Save your money ladies and gents as youd be better off wrapping guinea pig bedding in your fiver and smoking that than buying this monstrosity! Chris

H. Upmann Coronas Junior Tubed Cigar - 1 Single

I was expecting more from this cigar. Lit ok but the burn was uneven. Not much smoke and I didnt get any of the flavours stated. Could only taste tobaco and a slight pepper or ginger burn to the back of my throat. Left me with a dry mouth too. I will keep trying to find my perfect cigar but this is not it.

Henri Wintermans Half Corona - Pack of 5 cigars (5 cigars)
Date Added: Thursday 26 April, 2018
First off an admission, Im a new cigar smoker. Ive been smoking a pipe for the past 18 months but never really felt at home with it. The bad smokes outweighed the good by some margin. Ive tried cigars before but due to limits on my personal finances theyve all been at the bottom of the budget ladder. Small, harsh and very hot would best describe them. Then someone gifted me some quality Cuban and New World cigars and I was hooked. Had a kind of where have you been all my life moment. I knew I was a convert but the budget restrictions remained so I had to look for what I could afford. After some research I first tried a Wintermans Corona Sumatra from my local Asda and was pleasantly surprised. Thought it wouldnt hurt to give these a go. Can only say that to my newbie palate they are very acceptable indeed. Low price, good draw, tightly packed, and only really get too hot in the last quarter, and Ive even got around that by employing one of my pipes. Slip the butt in and continue with a very pleasant smoke down to the nub! Sorry of that offends you experienced cigar smoker

Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 22 April, 2018
This cigar was my first true love as a newbie herfer, way back at the turn of the millennium. Over the years I have smoked many fine cigars and some considerably stronger. However I always come back to the Epi 2 a few times a year and I rekindle that flame I had all those years ago. This afternoon’s one has been in the humidor for a year or so, having been supplied by CGars it is in perfect condition. As always the quality of construction is excellent and a year in the humidor has only added to the subtle complexity of this wonderful cigar. I can’t say enough about how good this cigar is, so I’m not going to, but I urge anyone who hasn’t tried one to buy one now!

H. Upmann Coronas Junior Tubed Cigar - Pack of 3

Unfortunately, you cannot edit reviews after they have been submitted, so this is my second review of the H.Upmann Coronas Junior – maybe this is a feature that needs to be added to the website? Within an hour of my posting my negative thoughts about these cigars, Michelle from C.Gars Ltd had emailed me looking to resolve the problem. It was explained to me that the green spots are caused by, ‘excess moisture at some point in the tobacco curing process’ and were not mould, which I was thankful to hear. Although the green spots did not affect the smoking experience, they are still not aesthetic pleasing. However, these are hand made products and a flawless wrapper cannot always be expected. Michelle was very accommodating and showed excellent customer service by sending me two more cigars. The wrapper on these was perfect and the smoking experience enjoyable. The uneven burn was limited to the first cigar from my first review, and the other cigars did not suffer from this. The draw was fine and the smoke nicely thick. This is about a half hour smoking experience. A very mild smoke, wi
