Drew Estate Acid Krush Classic Blue Connecticut Cigar - Tin of 10
Date Added: Monday 05 February, 2018
This was my first cigar and I must say it’s got me hooked. The burn is even and the aroma is great. It’s easy to smoke and lasts about 20-25 minutes. If you smoke too fast it becomes bitter and the last inch of the stick the smoke becomes too hot to retrohale. Tip is sweet but you only taste it when you wet the cigar before cutting after that the sweetness is gone.

Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour Churchill Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Tuesday 30 January, 2018
The entire Winston Churchill selection from Davidoff is worth experiencing but Late Hour shaped to be something special from the get go. Between the robusto and its longer brethren it is the Churchill that provides the definitive smoke largely due to the size and the impressive physical statue. Pleasure derived from cutting and lighting up this cigar as well as simply handling its deep brown coloured wrapper and the sheer weight of the stick itself is somewhat majestic. This smoker would certainly agree with some other opinions that the taste is consistent throughout its lenght with coffee and chocolate persistent but enveloped in unmistakable sharp grain resulting from ageing tobacco in whisky barrels. It is as satisfactory as sipping a good malt and certainly unique. This is one to respect and enjoy in peace and almost katharctic. If not for the immediacy it provokes with its flawless presentation I'd be keen to store and see how it refines in a humidor. Definitely worth ones consideration if the inherent strength and complexity can be overcome for those who prefer milder c

Davidoff Exclusive Orchant Seleccion Lancero Cigar - London Edition - Box of 10
Date Added: Monday 22 January, 2018
The UK market seems to have steered away from lancero sized cigars in recent years, which makes this vitola unusual and special which in turn gives the smoker an air of elegance. Many famous people in history have preferred a lancero, such as the likes of Fidel Castro, Groucho Marx and of course Zino Davidoff himself! This premium cigar, made exclusively for C.Gars and Turmeaus, is presented in a stunning limited edition box of 10 cigars, one of the most luxurious I have ever seen. Only 300 boxes have been made which makes these a very exciting collector’s piece. The first thing that impressed me with the actual cigars was the silky and bright looking Cuban Seed Ecuadorian wrapper; a real thing of beauty which has been meticulously hand rolled around the filler and binder to create a piece of art. The binder is a hybrid; olor/piloto from the exclusive Yamaza region in the Dominican republic. A very important region in the history of Davidoff where Henke Kelner went against the grain and achieved his dream to cultivate tobacco there. The filler is a fine selection of premi

Dutch Blend Wilde Spriet Cigarillos - 1 Single
Date Added: Monday 15 January, 2018
What a surprise this little beauty was! I was expecting an average type cigarillo (which I normally aren't too keen on lol) but if it wasn't for the small ring gauge, I could have easily been smoking a larger cigar of higher quality if I closed my eyes and zoned out, which I did at several points. I was just sad when it ended but it was a wonderful 10 - 12 minute experience combined with a great taste. I would definitely recommend these to anybody who has say a time restriction at work or for somebody like myself who just put my feet up and tuned out of the world for just over 10 minutes :-)

Drew Estate Undercrown Shade Robusto Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 11 January, 2018
I am a beginner cigar smoker, had this as a recommendation and the guy who recommend this to me was so right. This is a mild stick with very pronounced flavours. It leaves nothing to be thought about. Very slow burning, very big smoke output ( as most drew estates ) and very good construction. First flavour notes are: pepper, wood and a small amount of cedar. Throughout the cigar the sweetness increased slightly, leaving a creamy taste on the palate. The whole smoke was enjoyable with no burning issues. This is perfect for someone who’s just starting out into cigars as it’s mild but has good flavour. The smoke left a small aftertaste similar to earthy tones ( the only thing I could describe it to ) on the palate, but that soon wore off after another draw. Overall a very good cigar, worth the money. Hope this proved helpful to anyone.
