Padron 1926 Series No. 9 Maduro Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Thursday 15 February, 2018
Recommended to me by David at Turmeaus Liverpool to celebrate the birth of my first child, this is hands down the best cigar I have ever smoked. I was back in the shop within days to pick up some more. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Im fairly new to smoking cigars (just thought Id throw that out there): First of all the cigar produced good amounts of white smoke. Deep earthy rich flavours throughout with significant increases of sweet notes. Consistent flavour (no pepper). The cigars structure was disappointing, pronounced seams, tunneling and a crack where the band was, although this did not affect the smoke much. The cigar for me was at the top end of medium on the scale. I prefer a lighter smoke as this was too much for me but if your a more experienced smoke you may enjoy this. Overall I would say Im going to stay away from this cigar until I have enhanced my palate and developed my taste. Hope this helps a little.

Partagas Serie P No. 2 Cigar - 1 Single

Whilst everyone seems to be busy talking about the Series D No.2, this, for me, was the standout cigar for me during a recent trip to Havana. Fabulous construction, even burn and flawless draw comprising mouthfuls of Partagas' earthy, peppery flavours. A must smoke.

This is such an underrated cigar in my opinion, at at least I don't believe it gets the praise it deserves. A great way to spend 45 minutes to an hour, simply put. Expect a medium strength smoke, with a consistent, non offensive experience from start to finish. Yes, the flavours are a little one dimensional with no real development, but the chocolate, earth and slightly peppery tones are a delight to behold. I brought 15 of these back with me from Havana and think they'll only get better with age. Yes, you can probably get a bigger smoke for your money, but give one a try and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised

First cigar of this brand I tried; what a beautiful and flavoursome smoke it was too. Highly recommend, lasted an hour and paired fantastic with a coffee.... Got flavours of vanilla, honey and nuts with a nice buttery cream. Draw was just above being tight draw and any tighter would become unpleasant, I'd definitely recommend and for the time and flavours you get worth every penny.
