Peterson Sherlock Holmes Pipe Tobacco - 10g Sample by Chas
Nice natural tobacco tin note, with a lovely colour. I bought the sample and this burned pretty fast and hot out the package. Has a pleasant room note however, with a medium kick of nic and a hint of citrus/grassy note in the taste. I think with how fast it burned I got a bit of heat tongue bite so…

A truly fantastic latakia based blend. It burns to a perfect white ash, offers a quintessential smokey camp fire taste, and if sipped gently there is no risk of tongue bite. Whilst not the deepest mix of flavours, it is a perfect all day blend and one to have in the cellar for when you can't…

This blend gets a lot of love but sadly for me I got nothing from it. I tried it moist, slightly dry, and crispy, it just never improved or had any flavour. I trust that good tobacco was used but I didn't even get that. I'm glad I have it a go but happy I didn't commit to a tin.
