La Invicta Nicaraguan Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 05 August, 2018
The construction on this cigar was nothing short of phenomenal, the draw was perfect, the burn was razor sharp and the ash held on for just over an inch at a time. I was taking long deliberate draws about once a minute and this cigar easily gave me 45 minutes of enjoyment, but Im quite a slow smoker because Im such a lightweight when it comes to nicotine. The flavours under the description are fairly accurate; a nutty-ceder from start to finish, quite subdued and quite palatable for a rookie smoker like me, on the retrohale the ceder came in much stronger but not so much that it overwhelmed me or burnt out my nostrils. The one I smoked this evening was probably more on the light-medium side, the flavours are pretty basic and there is no real complexity or development to speak of but for the price I feel like I got tremendous value and enjoyment. A great budget stick in my opinion.

Montecristo Linea 1935 Dumas Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 05 August, 2018
Montecristo Linea 1935 Dumas Itís not often that you get to try an entirely new cigar, especially one from a range as hotly anticipated as the Linea 1935. I am a fan of Montecristo in general and as I have matured as a cigar smoker, I have always found myself relying on the old stalwarts like the No2. Having tried the Open series and enjoyed them, but not Ďlovedí them, I was really looking forward to a chance to smoke a Linea 1935. I ordered two of each of the Leylanda and Dumas and they were delivered a couple of weeks ago, by the team at CGars. I would normally put my cigars away in the humidor for at least 6 months before I smoke them, but the anticipation was killing me and I was unable to wait that long. I picked a Dumas, as this is the size closest in size to a robusto, my favoured smoke. Construction is almost as good as it ever gets, a truly lovely wrapper, nut brown but with with an oily sheen and some darker depth to it. The cap was beautifully constructed and almost looks seamless from a distance, but when you get close you can see real precision to the workmans

Conquistador Tres Petit Corona Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 05 August, 2018
Bought this a while back and let it sit in the humidor for about 6 months. Maybe this helped but honestly I couldnít see the issues that the other reviewers have had! For under £5 itís not a bad stick, I think there are far superior sticks for the money I.e Quorum shade grown series. Taste wise it was about a 4 or 5 certainly wasnít unpleasant but again like other cigars at this price point suffered from being a bit of a meh experience. Iíd say itís a nice cigar to enjoy when walking the dog or mowing the lawn but other than that I think you could do a lot better for your cash! 4/10

Jose L Piedra Petit Cetros Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Sunday 05 August, 2018
Overall a very good stick! Few guys have mentioned construction issues, I had no such problems. Flavour wise, very mild in my opinion. I got a sweet tasting smoke that didn’t linger on the tongue for long. I would certainly recommend this for someone looking to try a Cuban for the first time. Very easy going. Overall I’d give this a 6/10 as for me it just lacked a little flavour and I think there are better sticks for similar money.

AVO Syncro Nicaragua Toro Tubos Cigar - 1 Single
Date Added: Saturday 04 August, 2018
Definitely an unsung behemoth of the cigar world. Beautifully presented in its decorated metal tube, with hinged lid. Opening-up and unwrapping reveals a marvellously engineered stick with a satisfyingly oily wrapper, often associated with expensive Cuban varieties. Very pleasing to the eye and easily balanced between the fingers, due to its uniquely shaped body. Looks fantastic in the cigar-smokers mouth due to its massively imposing size. Its fragrant odour belies it relatively budget cost. Flaming-up and drawing gives a massive tobacco hit and the associated pleasant light-headedness with which one would expect from a stick of this size. Believe me, the smoke expelled from this mother, with even a small exertion, is enough to rival the most powerful modern electronic vaper...Very satisfying. The resultant pearly white ash was held extremely well, after numerous silky smooth inhalations. Conclusion: if you enjoy the smooth, easy draw associated with big cigars, lots of smoke and a lot of silky-smooth taste, but like me, dont have the disposable income to buy a big Cuban every wee
