A great smoke. Rather like an Epicure No2. Masses of creamy smoke, with a mid to fuller flavour. Wrapper came undone towards the end. Otherwise 5 stars. Richard Surrey.

Possibly the best of a great line, a benchmark corona gorda. Especially smooth with a few years on them, but Ive never had a bad one. Balance. Finesse. Just the right hit of spice and a lingering finish.

This is one of the best tasting cigars of its size. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a medium flavored cigar that is smokable anytime. The additional age really adds to an already near perfect cigar. This is a fine example of Cuban Habanos at their prime.

A true classic. This is one cigar that
that time has provided with the perfect finishing touch. The 1996 SLR is one of the finest Havanas I have had the pleasure to smoke. Rich, creamy smoke, a near prefect draw and a spicy woody flavor from beginning to end.
Thanks MO :/)
P.S. Can I rate it a 7/5

An excellent full bodied smoke. The smoke is smooth and woody with a touch of sweet spice. Near perfect construction.

Wonderful little smoke. It redefined for me the meaning of the word "aromatic." And the age on it made it so
smoooooth. Ill definitely be ordering some more SLR. Perhaps Regios

For corona gordas, these are capable of setting the standard. Lots of interesting flavour, nicely balanced aroma and fragrance. I found no bitterness here, even at the very end (no, didnt burn my fingers this time). Any smoker should try one of these.

This and the PC are my benchmarks to the SLR line. I think that for the size, they handle themselves like bigger sticks (meant to be a compliment) in giving a little variety to the flavors.

Well these really are excellent. Way better than the gnarly Regios. I had a couple of the 1997 batch and they were rounded, tasty and interesting. No brashness or bitterness just med strength pleasure.

Excellent, nicely aged corona gorda.Nice construction and burns well even though it appears slightly underfilled. Very aromatic with notes of wood and spice. Nice oils in the wrappers.
