Apologies for the second review, but i realized had to add this after i posted the first. The wrapper is very delicate. By the time i smoked it, most of the first inch and a half from the foot of the outer wrapper had peeled off. Be very careful with it while storing.

Very nice. La Ricas are so fairly priced for the quality you get. I smoked this while working on some Spanish Cedar to make some sections for my humidor as it happens. This gave a lovely spicy and peppery taste all through, and once lit fully, could be left for absolutely ages before it went out.

I was also impressed by these smokes. One of my Cuban substitutes when I'm a little short. Nice smooth wrapper and decent burn. Just a few words of warning... if you miss delivery and have them dry out in the post office for a few days be careful to humidify them gently. The wrappers like to split a little at the end if introduced quickly to a high humidity humidor.

I bought one of these from a tobacconist in Frome & although the wrapper was a little bit split, it was still a fine mild smoke, with a taste of wood at the start, before developing into a vanilla flavour half way through, very nice indeed! I would recommend this to anyone who, like myself, is a little bit of a Cuban snob!!

Have to say I was stunned by these cigars. One of my best finds of the year to date. Excellent construction, and a very smooth draw with good light ash. THe flavour is mild and is a cool smoke. I would describe this cigar as "a gentle smoke" compared to others. I have re-ordered some more (it's included in one of the Grand Prix sampler pack as well) A highly recommended smoke for the pub beer garden after work (well that's where I appear to have smoked mine!)

it was a nice smoke until the binder fell apart and i had to fix it with a rizla. It did have nice flavour and aroma, shame about the binder must of got a bad one!!!!
