I agree the Minutos arn\'t very pleasant but the Cristales are a cheap starter Cuban cigar very mild and tasty never harsh or bitter and even burning ideal to practice cigar lighting and cutting even though these are also machine made and already cut, these are a very relaxing cigar for a good hour…
This is a decent budget smoke. No need to snip the end and it has it`s own tube. The thing is when I smoke one of these I seem to get brown deposits on my teeth and fingers. It`s also difficult to smoke one without singing...."Guantanamera....Guantanameeeeeerra...".
These are a great "utility" smoke. As they are machine-made, have a pre-cut cap and are tubed, you don't need to carry too many accessories to be able to enjoy a decent quality Cuban cigar. Simply get it out of the tube, light and you're ready to go. These aren't by any stretch the most flavoursome…
