One of our Favourite brands of cigar accessories is S.T. Dupont. Since 1872 S.T. Dupont have created ultra premium and beautiful cigar accessories. They create and design their cutters to offer absolute luxury and functionality, their highly engineered cutters are spring loaded with razor sharp blades to ensure a perfect cut each time.

S.T Dupont was founded by Simon Tissot-Dupont in 1872 originally making travel cases. Simons experience as a photographer to Napoleon III gave him a keen eye for luxury and an incredible understanding of Parisian fashion.

Throughout the late 1800s Simon built a reputation for making amazing cases and bags for wealthy businessmen, diplomats and even royalty. S.T. Dupont was growing exceptionally quick due to a mix of retail partnerships and private clients.

After the first world war the company was handed down to his sons, who expanded the operations. The company started filing patents for their products and drafted in expert craftsmen, artisans and designers. Not long after S.T Dupont had a presence in New York at the Cartier Boutique on Fifth Avenue.

Throughout the 1930s S.T. Dupont continued to innovate, creating a new way to process leather to make it durable. In the 1940s at the request of the Maharajah of Patiala, S.T. Dupont started producing lighters. This was the company's first cigar accessory and the world's first solid gold lighter. To the company’s surprise this paved the way for S.T. Dupont to become one of the most well known premium cigar accessory brands in the world!

In the 1950s and 60s S.T. Dupont formed relationships with celebrities such as Audrey Hepburn and Pablo Picasso. This continued through to the present day with the company producing the French government's gift to Prince William and Kate Middleton for their wedding.
