Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust

Cigars without compromise - This expression is a closely held ethos at Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, it declares that cigars are more than just a passion; it is their life.

They create cigars that pay respect to the vaulted history of handmade vitolas, honour the dedicated work of all the vegueros, torcedors and artists who dedicate their lives to this timeless craft. The goal is to always offer the connoisseur an unparalleled smoking experience.

Their founder, Steve Saka, is a veteran in the world of premium cigars. He began in the early 1990s when he joined Drew Estate. During this time there he played a leading role in shaping Drew Estate’s reputation as a manufacturer of innovative and high quality cigars. Saka’s expertise in blending and his passion for cigars earned him a prominent position within the company, eventually becoming the CEO.

In 2015, after over 20 years with Drew Estate, Saka decided to move on and create Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust. The name is a tribute to Saka’s roots in Dunbarton, New Hampshire, where he grew up.

Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust’s cigars have all been rated incredibly high, including at the very top of hundreds of annual lists. They are the only maker to have been named “company of the year” four consecutive years by the Halfwheel consensus.

We have three different ranges within the Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust portfolio:

The Sobremesa Brulee which is a light and creamy cigar with plenty of flavour.

The Sin Compromiso which is of medium strength and full of spiciness.

The Muestra which is a light to medium in strength and uses a unique blend of tobaccos.

While the history is incredibly short the future is massive for Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust.
