The Island region includes all of the whisky producing Isles of Scotland namely Mull, Skye, Orkney, Arran, Jura and Lewis.
Popular distilleries from the Island regions are Talisker, Highland Park and Isle of Jura.
Typical Style: Due to the location of the Island, distilleries tend to have a coastal feel to them. Slightly peaty in character, the peat is generally softer and sweeter than their Islay cousin.
