Description

A single cask, 28 year Old Isle of Jura bottled by Mossburn Whisky.

It is always very interesting to try an older Jura with the heavier spirit style working well when aged just that little bit longer. 

This Jura, 28 Year Old Mossburn is an independent bottling which was produced in the Islands region of Scotland.

One of 220 bottles, bottled at cask strength and non chill filtered. 

 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Old malty wood upfront on the nose, followed by linoleum, damp hay and biscuity vanilla.

Palate: Rich in flavour, a little oily and notes of boiled sweets, toasted hazelnuts and more biscuity malt.

Finish: Lively finish with some spice and finesse, wearing its age well.
