Did you know we host cigar auctions? As a specialist in Vintage Havanas we have many people contacting us to see if we will buy their vintage cigars and we are more than happy to examine them and give you a price or you can put them into one of our auctions.
We have had 42 auctions since we established the auction department which began on the 1st of December 2009. We usually hold 4 cigar auctions a year (usually Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter) with bidders from all over the world looking to get themselves a Vintage cigar. We have had a total of 14,007 lots since we began but it has gained popularity since we introduced live online bidding through our website which you can find here.
Our last auction, which is the last one of the year, was a great success for both sellers and bidders. In fact, it was the largest cigar auction ever held with over one million pounds worth of lots sold! The weakness of the pound certainly made the estimates even more attractive for international bidders and we received record prices!
