Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated Whisky - 70cl 50% - How could you not be a fan of this progressive Islay distillery? Heavily peated to 40ppm, this is definitely a powerful dram, not as powerful as their Octomore range, but sitting at the top with other classic Islay drams. Big flavours with a coastal tang, seaweed, salty notes, cream, and apple sweetness.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ardbeg Corryvreckan - 70cl 57.1% - Awarded The World's Best Single Malt in 2010 by the World Whiskies Awards, even if this was 12 years ago, Corryvreckan still hits like a bomb! Balanced, intense with chocolate notes, chillies, americano black coffee and of course peat!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lagavulin 8 Year Old - 70cl 48% - A younger release from the distillery, light bodied with an oily mouthfeel, smoky and pungent character, sweet spiciness, hints of salinity with a dry finish. We can say for sure, it showcases all the qualities and power of Lagavulin distillery.

 

 

 

 

 

Stalla Dhu Islay - 70cl 40% - This Independent bottling comes from an undisclosed Islay distillery, and even if there is no age statement to it, it’s one of our first choices for flavour and value! Peat and maritime notes, delicious underlying caramel sweetness, and a very smooth finish. All that under £40. What’s not to like about it?

 

 

 

 

 

Arran Machrie Moor 10 Year Old - 46% 70cl - Fully matured in 1st fill bourbon casks for 10 years and bottled without chill filtration or added colouring, this peated Arran displays all the freshness of their island house style, with an added puff of smoke and earthiness and a ppm of 20. Great for anyone that would like to try a softer peated dram.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Isle of Raasay Single Malt R-02 - 46% 70cl - The signature release from the Hebridean Island brings earthy smoke, balanced with rich dark fruit notes. This whisky is marriage of peated and unpeated malt, aged in three types of casks: fresh Chinkapin oak, first fill Rye whiskey barrels and first fill red wine casks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Smokehead Sherry Bomb - 48% 70cl - A dram that’s not for the faint hearted, Smokehead Sherry Bomb is a peaty Islay scotch, blasted by rich, sweet, and spicy Spanish sherry casks, emerging as fiery, explosive, heavy hitting dram.
