NEWS RELEASE                                                 October 17, 2011

The countdown begins for the world's largest ever auction of fine cigars

at Boisdale Canary Wharf

Almost 400 Lots of some of the finest and rarest cigars ever look to set a world record when they go under the hammer at Boisdale Canary Wharf on Monday 28 November 2011.

'We've only just started telling our customers about our Winter 2011 cigars auction and have already been overwhelmed with interest from aficionados around the world,' said Mitchell Orchant, managing director, C.Gars Ltd, the largest Havana cigar specialist in the UK.

'Our past four auctions achieved almost 100% sales with many bids well above established market prices.  The vintage cigars market remains robust and discerning adult smokers are still happy to light up their lives – and dispel all the doom and gloom of recent months - with a rare smoke.'

The C.Gars Ltd Winter 2011 auction will include a Fidel Castro signed Cohiba Gran Corona humidor that is estimated to set a world record bid of over £50,000, fine highly collectible Davidoff cigars including 80th Anniversary boxes of 10 and 20, an enormous range of rare pre-Embargo Havanas and, not least, the once in-a-life opportunity to bid for the late Lord Leonard Steinberg's cigar collection that was recently transferred from Dunhill to C.Gars Ltd.
