Stalla Dhu - Award winning whisky

Stalla Dhu is Scottish Gaeilic for "Black Cliff" and with this exclusive whisky, there are two different regions, this Islay edition and a Speyside offering.
First and second generation members of our family of independent bottlers carefully select the whiskies which show a particular promise.
To begin, the wood is managed and we continue to house the environment and casks which best affect the aging to achieve the unique results which we strive for.
The whiskies are then left until the time is right and then select the correct ABV to bring to you a very special dram.

Core Range

Stalla Dhu Islay

Winner of a Silver medal at the International Spirits Challenge in 2017, 2018 and 2019; this whisky is exclusive to Turmeaus and one which we are super proud of. On the nose you get hints of smoke, honey and citrus, then on the palate you experience peat, oak and subtle salted caramel and apple. To finish off, maritime salt and a lingering sweetness. Definitely one to try if you haven’t already!

Stalla Dhu Speyside

This whisky is another of our own brand and one which we are equally proud of, with Silver and Bronze medals in the International Wine and Spirit Competition in 2017 and 2018 and won the Silver award in the 2019 Independent Bottlers Challenge! On the nose you are met with sweet and citrus scents, then on the palate it boasts flavours of dried fruit, sweet caramel and subtle spice. The finish on this dram is long and sweet. A beautiful whisky to enjoy at any time.

C.Gars Malt

C.Gars Malt Orchant Selection Single Malt Whisky is a rich but extremely well-balanced whisky with a harmony of malty notes delicately accented with wisps of vanilla and sweet spicy flavours. On the nose you are met with honey and citrus with an underlying spice, then on the palate notes of Sherry, raisins, caramel and spice. And as with our other whiskies it has a long sweet finish. Our C.Gars Malt has also been awarded various medals, including most recently the Silver award at the International Wine and Spirits Challenge 2019! This Cigar Malt beautifully compliments the complexity of a Havana cigar, whilst balancing and sometimes contrasting with premium New-World blends.
