We specialise in Cuban Davidoff and Dunhills, mature Havanas from the 60's, 70's, 80's and early 90's as well as pre embargo Cubans. If we don't have it we can probably source the cigar of your dreams for you.

We have an enormous network of buyers and sellers worldwide who are always interested in swaps/trading hence our inventory is ever changing. We also hold regular vintage cigar auctions on our Online Auction Website .

Aged Havanas have proved to be a lucrative investment over the last 30 years if you read the market correctly. Many of my clients habitually purchase two boxes of the same rare cigar...one to collect and one to smoke. Increases in value has often meant that the box for collecting has increased to the extent that the box for smoking ends up costing nothing.

I can't think of many rare cigars that have not passed through our humidor over the last 2 decades including Dunhill Cabinetta and most other Cuban Dunhill cigars that were made, Flor de Cano Short Churchills. Every single Davidoff vitola that was ever made, limited edition humidors such as Cubatabaco 1492, Habanos 1994, Partagas 150th, 155th,  157th and 165th Anniversary, Cohiba humidors and jars, Upmann glass office jars, pre embargo cigars even Cubans back from the 1890's!

I always try to sell singles as well as full boxes and cabinets so clients don't have to invest a great deal to try the cigar before committing to a full cabinet. I am also happy to custom build aged sampler packs to a client's flavour profile or budget.

I'm often asked "Is an aged cigar better than a recent production or mature Havana?" The answer is that smoking aged Havanas is an acquired taste. In most cases an aged cigar will taste completely different to the equivalent recent production cigar.

This is due to the effect of slow maturing/time on the cigar. A well stored Havana cigar will age and mature in a similar fashion to a fine wine. Over the first year to three years, the nicotine and youthful character of the blends disappear naturally and the cigars will mellow in strength whilst retaining the general flavour characteristics as the blend settles down to show its full potential.

Slowing down the maturing process is the key to successful ageing and lower temperatures and humidity levels are required.

The excellent book "An Illustrated History of Post revolution Havana Cigars" is the best reference available with good descriptions and photographs of almost every Havana cigar commercially produced since the revolution. I remember spending a lot of time with the author discussing aged and rare Havanas as well as trying out too many to remember with him on my trip to Hong Kong in 2000.

The book was a best seller for C.Gars Ltd and we are very grateful to the author for raising the awareness of aged and rare Havana cigars in the marketplace.

If you are interested in selling a single cigar or a complete collection we would be more than happy to provide a free valuation service and appropriate advice, simply email us at [email protected]
