The dark, chocolate brown and oily wrapper gives an indication of the joys within. Pre-light aroma of faint wet earth and strong chocolate fudge cake with a cold draw of syrupy dates. The wrapper coats the lips with chocolate and on lighting gives off smooth, pale and creamy smoke again with a ribbon of dark chocolate running through. Midway a slight nuttiness creeps in. Think of a hazelnut ganache. Tight, white ash holds on for at least half the cigar and then it's back to smooth chocolate with a slight peppery heat. I paired mine with a glass of shiraz. Nice!
