The U.K. now has a fourth La Casa del Habano franchise cigar shop, and it’s located in England’s Cheshire county in the town of Knutsford.
The new Casa is operated in partnership with C.Gars Ltd., a company that runs many cigar retail shops throughout the U.K., including another Casa del Habano in Chester.
“Opening a second La Casa del Habano is very important to our group and allows us to continue our substantial growth in Havana sales,” said Mitchell Orchant, managing director of C.Gars Ltd.
At approximately 850 square feet, the new Casa includes a walk-in humidor, smoking lounge and cigar lockers. Although now open for business, the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place on Wednesday, July 24.
La Casa del Habano is the retail arm of Habanos S.A., global distributor of Cuban cigars. There are nearly 150 La Casa del Habano shops across 65 countries worldwide, and each year Habanos S.A. produces cigars made especially for those retail locations.
