In 1976 the Elie Bleu workshop was created in the heart of the Faubourg Saint Antoine, France. It quickly became known as the cradle of Parisian cabinet making.

By the 1990’s the cigar market was booming in the USA. It was during this boom that an American journalist discovered the Elie Bleu humidor, impressed with the craftsmanship he immediately recommended it to his readers creating a boost in popularity for Elie Bleu.

Crafted with top of the range materials and by expert craftsmen each humidor takes between four to six months to make. Planning, adjusting, sanding, varnishing, sheathing and polishing by hand makes these beautiful humidors one of a kind. Continuously innovating and working with rare wood and noble materials, Elie Bleu knows that reaching perfection isn’t easy and takes patience.
