Learn with Lewis - Diplomaticos

As an administrator, my role is extremely varied
within the business here at C.Gars Ltd.

I am extremely interested in the cigars, whisky and other products we have to offer and enthusiastic to learn about them.

Follow me along on this learning journey, as I take you through what I have learnt about our brands so far; hopefully you can learn something new too!

Today I have been learning about the brand Diplomaticos.

Diplomaticos was the first brand to be introduced after the Cuban revolution (with exception to Cohiba - but these were exclusive to Fidel Castro and not sold to the oublic until 1982). The Diplomaticos brand was introduced in 1966 as essentially a second value line of the Montecristo brand, primarily aimed at the French market. One of the few Havana brands which is exclusively devoted to handmade cigars, the sizes and names essentially mirror the Montecristo nomenclature and the Diplimaticos line is produced at the Jose Marti factory, as is most of the Montecristo range. They are generally considered to be medium to full bodied.

Diplomaticos is now a very well-known brand, and for many it is their go-to for daily enjoyment.

Unfortunately we only have one line available in the UK currently, which you can see below:
