Although you may notice that there has been several changes to the design and packaging, you may rest assured that the liquid within remains true to the original blend created by Bernard Hine and Nicholas Freeman, late Chairman of Hunters & Frankau. Between them they combined their lifetime knowledge and passion for fine cognac and the very best cigars to produce this rich and distinctive cognac.
Aged for over 12 years in the Hine cellars in Jarnac, its depth and complexity are the perfect accompaniment to a fine handmade Havana cigar.
The Blend: Blended with over 20 eaux-de-vie coming from the following 4 growths of the Cognac region: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois grapes.
Tasting Notes: Rich, rounded and complex with notes of spice, fresh pepper, tobacco. It also includes hints of walnut, honey and lightly toasted flavours.
On The Nose: Crystallised fruit, honey, tobacco leaf and a slight hint of wood
Flavour Profile: An impressive and well-balanced cognac crafted to pair with a handmade Havana cigars, but with more than enough subtlety and complexity to be enjoyed on its own.
