Drew Estate Orchant Seleccion Heavyweight Cigar - 1 Single

This cigar really was a bit of a sneaky one for me. I lit it up on Christmas eve out walking, as i am not the most experienced cigar smoker i thought it might be a bit much from the stronger darker flavours i was getting ..... Next thing i knew i was really enjoying it. A few too many coins at regular price but i got mine in a pre-Christmas sale for a very reasonable number. Strong, smoked well, held its ash and lasted a fair while but i do think i am a slower than average smoker.

Went in to the london store today as I was passing these was recommended to me in store and could not wait till the weekend to enjoy. I’m so pleased with the flavour not to peppery, the draw was excellent and for the price I was very surprised. Defiantly will be buying more. Always going to have a few stored at home now. Thank you to the staff for their knowledge. Keep up the good work

Very nice cigar. From the first draw I got sweetness and cream which lasted until about half way through. The final third was good but nothing special. Fantastic draw throughout and it burnt really well with lots of smoke, although the wrapper started to come away during the final third. Would buy again.

A real top quality cigar, decent taste, easy to draw, burns perfectly, very very enjoyable, probably my favourite cigar.

Over numerous years of smoking I find it only fair to review on not solely the one cigar. However I feel like Drew Estates regular vitolas there consistent. The construction is excellent, burn and draw was perfect. This cigar I found to be of two half’s, first half is medium with not an overwhelming amount of strength in flavour. Second half the flavour of earthiness picks up along with the strength. Pepper becomes more dominate with an occasional sweetness which is a pleasant welcome on the palate. I personally found the flavour got slightly bitter nearing the end more then usual, but overall a good cigar. I’d defiantly recommend to try and especially for those who are New-World and Drew Estate cigar lovers...3.4/5 would be my personal rating score, but ofcourse try for yourself!!
