A Day In The Life Of A Customer Care Advisor

At the heart of our business is a strong customer care team who are available 24 hours a day either by phone, email, or live chat. We are ready to help all our customers in a professional and timely manner whatever the task.

Our customer care advisors have a varied and busy role here at C.Gars Ltd. They are the first point of call when contacting us, so they answer incoming calls and emails. They also offer advice and help via the Live Chat on our website. They process telephone orders for our repeat customers and assist new customers with the ordering process too.

A typical day will include an early start (with a cup of tea!) to check on any emails that have come through overnight and require their attention. These enquiries could involve anything such as amending orders, tracking down parcels that have gone astray with couriers or new enquiries and shipping quotes to overseas countries. No day is ever the same in this role, and never a dull moment!

Once their emails are cleared, the team get to work on booking in parcels with Royal Mail and other couriers to get your orders out the door on time! They carefully check all orders before selecting the correct shipping method, and contact customers if there is anything that needs further attention.

In between booking on parcels, the team are constantly busy with new enquiries and issues that arise in between – as I said… there is never a dull moment!!

Their day comes to an end as the couriers collect the parcels from our warehouse and they tie up as many loose ends as possible before heading home, ready to start it all again tomorrow!
