This has to be one of my personal favourite Cuban cigars. After trying a Cohiba cigar (not this one) about 6 years back and it hitting me quite hard, I was slightly hesitant to try another Cohiba, but my experience with the Siglo I just goes to show how you should always give a brand more than one…
The Cohiba Siglo I might be small, but it quickly became one of my favorite cigars Ive smoked so far. From the very first draw, it just felt effortless, an all round creamy smoke, and flavors that seemed to flow naturally without me having to think too hard about them.

A slightly awkward smoke with a very tight draw. I use a guillotine cutter I had to cut the end a bit further down than usual to get a proper draw. However, there was no unraveling and it smoked mostly perfect all the way down with a single touch up on one side.

Lovely smooth smoke with a delicious lingering aftertaste. Went well sat in a garden chair in the early summer sunshine, with a Gin and Tonic. About 25 mins in length, holds its ash well and stays cool to the last 20mm.
The first two thirds of this cigar is just lovely and smooth but the last third just got hotter and bitter which is a shame.
It took me 30 minutes to smoke all the way to the nub with no issues at all.
Smoked via a punch cut.
Had to use the widening tool on a couple of occasions as it was an incredibly tight draw.
Burnt reasonably well, had a nice aroma, lasted about 30 minutes. Not as strong as I would have liked. Will stick to the larger sized cohibas in the future
