C.Gars Summer Cigar Auction

Our annual summer auction was held again at the Bulgari hotel in Knightsbridge on Monday (20th). Our aged, rare, and vintage cigar auctions always include huge numbers of unbelievable lots from pre embargo cigars to vintage Davidoffs, as well as limited edition humidors. In every auction we present something different and unique for everyone to enjoy and this night stayed true to form!

After the auction ended, guests were invited up to the Sahakian cigar lounge to enjoy post-auction smokes, drinks, and canapes. The cigars that were sampled were the delicious Ramon Allones Petit Belicoso 2012 Regional Edition and the Bolivar Royal Corona Orchant Seleccion. Both the cigars paired up magnificently with the whisky which was on offer, Stalla Dhu Islay and C.Gars Cigar Malt (coming soon!)

We are so thankful to everyone who showed up and placed a bid on the lots. It really means so much to us that we can offer such fantastic and rare items to those who really appreciate them and we are confident that more and more auctions will be available in the future!

In other news: I recently took a trip to the newest Davidoff shop and lounge (Davidoff of Geneva - since 1911) at Brookfield Place, where I enjoyed a Davidoff Nicaraguan robusto whilst Karyn was busy shopping. The shop is fantastic, with several beautiful humidors lying in the wings and richly wrapped cigars ready for the taking in its very impressive humidor that housed both Davidoff's exclusive range of cigars and some of the world's leading cigars. As for the lounge, the soft lighting, the luxury leather seats, and lovely service given by its hard workers made it a very comfortable place to sit and relax. It certainly climbs to the upper reaches of my list when I think of quality and comfort! 

Of course, Monday night was also the football match between England and Slovakia in the European Championship which lead to some tense moments as Eli, London C.Gars Warehouse manageress, is from Slovakia!
