Casa 1910 was launched in 2021 and stands out for its deep connection to Mexican heritage, in particular the Mexican Revolution of 1910. The brands long term goal is to elevate Mexican cigars on the global stage by showcasing the rich tobacco traditions of Mexico, especially through the use of San Andres Negro tobacco, which is well known for its incredible quality.
The brand’s first release was the “Cuchillo Parado”, a cigar named after the first battle of the Mexican Revolution. It became a huge success and it was voted fifth in cigar lovers magazine in their top 10 list. Following this success, Casa 1910 expanded its offerings with the Revolutionary Edition, which includes the “Tierra Blanca” and “El Ebano” cigars, this further solidified its place in the premium cigar market.
The Cuchillo Parado uses a Negro San Andres binder and filler which has been aged for five years and then uses a Mexican Sumatra wrapper which has been aged for three years.
The Tierra Blanca also used Negro San Andres binder and filler, which has been aged for five years and then uses Maduro Negro San Andres which is also aged for five years.
Casa 1910 has very recently launched the “Mexigars” line, this aims to offer cigars with a strong Mexican identity at a more accessible price point. This line is designed to introduce more cigar enthusiasts to try the unique flavours and craftsmanship of Mexican tobacco.
Overall, Casa 1910 has quickly gained recognition for both its quality and its cultural significance, becoming a key player in the revival of Mexican cigars on the international scene.
