Simon Bolivar was one of the great historic figures of the 19th Century who liberated much of South America from Spanish rule. It is perhaps not surprising that a Habano named after such a powerful figure is blended to match his might.
The Bolivar brand was created in 1902 and is based today in the Partagas factory which is in the heart of Havana.
Bolivar Belicosos have long been one of Mitchell Orchants firm favourites and the best years production he can remember in the last 15 years has been 2007. The blend, the wrapper, the construction… all perfect.
Mitchell Orchant created the exclusive “Orchant Seleccion” Bolivar Belicosos with the kind co-operation of Hunters and Frankau, the sole importer of Havana cigars in the UK.
They are limited to 64 signed boxes and they are never re-released.

As the strongest of the Bolivar cigars this stick has a very good draw and excellent combustion.
Unlike the slightly rougher tasting Sancho Belicosos this Bolivar Belicosos Finos although the strongest of the Bolivar cigars, boasts a smooth, rich, aromatic profile with the subtle spiciness you would expect from a full bodied powerful cigar.
