Chapter 7 Whisky Benrinnes 1996 an 18 year old single malt, single cask whisky from the Speyside region.
This Chapter 7 Benrinnes has been aged in Bourbon Hogshead casks and bottled in 2016 by independent bottler Chapter 7 at cask strength 52.1% from cask #898 and non-chill filtered meaning no colouring has been added and the whisky retains it's original colour, aroma, taste etc.
Benrinnes 1996 is a limited edition of 267 numbered bottles.
Nose: Fruity and slightly floral/ Firstly, notes of orange and banana present themselves followed by a buttery touch. Add a touch of water and lemon develops the fresh aromas further.
Palate: Apple, banana and melon precede an interesting woody aroma and a touch of sophisticated resin.
Finish: Long and warming.
