Stalla Dhu Single Cask Glen Elgin Port Wood - 48% 70cl - Limited to only 268 bottles, this single cask whisky was aged for 10 years in an ex-bourbon barrel and finished in a first fill Port cask. Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2020 at the abv of 48%, making the perfect dram for most whisky enthusiasts and collectors. Adding a few drops of water to this magnificent whisky, instantly smooths out the flavours, intensifying the creamy and fruity notes with a slight dark chocolate undertone to it.

 

 

 

Doorly 14 Year Old Barbados Rum - 48% 70cl - Doorly's 14 Year Old is a delicious blend of pot and column still rum produced at the Foursquare distillery in Barbados. The spirit has been aged predominantly in bourbon casks, along with a portion aged in Madeira casks, imparting a touch of sweetness. Plenty of spices appear on the palate, with notes of ginger and oak, fading into Madeira sweetness and dark chocolate orange, along with jammy berries. Spices reappear on the finish with the addition of cinnamon, and a touch of char.

 

 

 

 

 

Edradour 10 Year Old - 40% 70cl - Edradour is one of Scotland's smallest distilleries and at their core of the range, this 10 year old scotch is a rather unique single malt, beautiful rich and fruity with a thick mouthfeel. The distillery’s methods of production remained virtually unchanged in the last 150 years. This release was aged in a combination of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks. We can find rum, barley and toasted almonds notes on the palate, with a rich, long and fruity finish.

 

 

 

 

Ardbeg Corryvreckan - 70cl 57.1% - This expression is an incredible release from the Ardbeg, which will slowly entrap you in a whirlpool of aromas and flavours. Named after the famous Corryvreckan Whirlpool that lies off the Islay north coast where only the bravest souls dare venture, it presents aromas and torrents of deep, peaty, peppery taste that lurk beneath the surface of this beautifully balanced dram. 

 

 

 

 

 

R L Seales 10 Year Old Barbados Rum - 43% 70cl - An excellent rum from Barbados, aged for 10 years before bottling. A wonderfully designed bottle, containing a wonderful rum packed with juicy fruit, nutty spice and lingering floral elements. Rich, juicy fig and raisin notes, joined by hints of almond and cinnamon. A light whiff of orange blossom comes in on the mid palate, with layers of tropical fruit alongside.

 

 

 

 

 

Clynelish 2005 Distillers Edition 2020 Release - 46% 70cl - Part of Diageo's Distillers Edition range, this limited release whisky was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2020, double matured and finished in dark Oloroso Seco casks, which impart a dry, nutty richness perfectly complementing the light, sweet and floral distillery style. Fragrant, firm-bodied and maritime, Clynelish is smooth, even waxy on the palate, presenting a fine sea-breeze intensity. 

 

 

 

 

 

Glenallachie 15 Year Old - 46% 70cl - A 2019 addition to the GlenAllachie core range, this 15 year old single malt was treated to a finishing period in sherry casks before bottling. The casks in question were a combination puncheons and hogsheads that previously held Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry. Master distillery Billy Walker described this expression as having an "exceptional balance of the distillery’s spirit and the influence of the Sherry casks used during maturation." 

 

 

 

 

Old Potrero 18th Century Style Whiskey - 51.2% 70cl - The Anchor Distilling Co in San Francisco have attempted to create the original whiskey of America with this Old Potrero. To recreate the 18th century style as best as they can they created the whiskey from a mash of 100% rye malt, as this was the grain of choice back in the 18th century. Using lightly toasted handmade fine grain new American oak barrels gives a wonderfully subtle flavour. For ageing, several un-charred oak barrels are used to achieve the balanced complexity that complements this whiskey’s traditional heritage.
