The Ardor Pipe has a history dating back to 1911, when the four Rovera brothers - Frederico, Carlo, Cornelio and Franscesco of Varese, Italy began the Manufacture of Briar Pipes. They are exclusive all Handmade Artisan Italian Pipes.
There is something very special about this Pipe. It is a “Diplomat” Shape finished in Deep Black Rustic Sandblasting with Red highlights. However, it is fitted with 2 Rings. The first is very rare & special. It is made from a type of Bog Oak which came from an old Door that was going to be destroyed, which dated from the 17th Century. ARDOR retrieved the Door because of it’s Historical value and rarity with a view to using it to form embellishments to some of their Pipes in future years – hence the fitting of this Ring to this Pipe, after Sandblasting it - different & very beautiful. The other Ring is Silver, and is fitted to the Multi-coloured Acrylic Stem. The Mouthpiece is the trademark Pennellessa type.
Presented in an original Ardor pouch and box.
This pipe has been individually photographed, so that the pipe you see in the picture is the pipe you will receive.
