The fifth edition of The Boss Hog – The Spirit of Mauve – is a 13-year-old straight rye whiskey that has been finished in Calvados casks.

As with all Boss Hog releases, this is single barrel, bottled at barrel proof, powerfully complex, distinctly unique and stupendous.
The 5th edition in the Boss Hog series is a 13 Year Straight Rye Whiskey finished in Calvados Casks.
A fine balance between American power and French sophistication.
Nose: Gentle and warming, with aromas of cinnamon, vanilla, candied ginger and a touch of tobacco.
Palate: Maple syrup and pears dominate on the palate, balanced by dark chocolate and oaky spice.
Finish: The palate continues into the finish with more oaked spice, and rich chocolate.
