Description

This latest 36 Year Old, Batch 11 edition has been matured in a first fill Oloroso Sherry Butts and traditional oak casks.

Small Batch Release - Latest Batch 11, this 36 year old whisky is smooth and creamy.
 
With aromas of baked fruits, from brandied pear to spiced mango chutney, a hint of leather balsam makes way for blackcurrant and toffee, walnut and crystalised ginger. The depth of this whisky reflected by a long and well-rounded finish.
 
Only a limited amount of 1,200 numbered bottles. Natural colour and non chill filtered. 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Vibrant, fruity and floral on the nose, with aromas of tropical fruits layered with winter spices from the Oloroso Sherry butts.

Palate: Rich yet sweet, the fruity tones develop into oaky flavours of raw heather honey and roasted chestnuts.

Finish: The depth of this whisky is reflected in its remarkably long finish with waves of fruit fading to an enticing winter spice finish. A very special dram indeed.
