Description

Launched in 2019, Tobermory 12 Year Old takes centre-stage in the new core range from the distillery.
 
After a two year hiatus as the distillery underwent extensive refurbishments, Tobermory has introduced new bottlings, inspired by the colours of the Isle of Mull.
 
This 12-year-old single malt is the signature expression from Mull's Tobermory distillery.
 
Crafted with non-peated malt barley and matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks for its full term, this expression is free from chill filtration and bottled at 46.3% abv.
 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Notes of orange, citrus, vanilla, oak and spice on the nose.

Palate: Followed by notes of sweet orange, creamy caramel, rich vanilla, cinnamon and clove on the palate.

Finish: Citrus, orange peel and rich toffee .

A fruity and creamy whisky, with some warming spices! All in all a very nice expression, would have again!
