Description

An old bottling of The Monarch blend, produced for many decades by Lambert Brothers. 

Lambert Brothers began trading in 1939 as a whisky merchants in Edinburgh. The had a shop on Frderick Street there until the early 1990s, with the firm ceasing trading altogether in 1996.

Although official size not stated on bottle, we believe this to be a 5cl miniature. 

Please note as this is a vintage miniature, conditions of bottle/label and liquid level can vary - Some years can vary as estimations only (example: estimated 1970s/80s).

Tasting Notes

Old Monarch is a richly flavoured, blended Scotch Whisky. The body, combining tastes of woody vanilla and sweet toffee, leads smoothly towards a long, warming finish.
