Tatuaje Petit Cazadores Reserva Cigar - Cabinet of 50

I bought a cabinet of these nearly three months ago, took them out of the box and straight into my humidor but left the cellophane on them. When I bought a single stick, it was a little dry, hard almost and the airflow wasnt that great but it did taste like it had the potential to be nice tobacco. So I took a gamble and bought the 50. Having had them sat for three months has made a world of difference. I have taken them all out of the cellophane now and admittedly, some of them do look and feel ugly as sin. Ive had about one a fortnight as well as given some away (not because I dont like them but because some have never smoked a cigar and theyre not too expensive to let someone try, plus theres so many, I can play swapsies with friends, so why not?). The oils are starting to return to the wrapper and theyre not as stiff as they were when I bought them and the draw has improved a great deal as well as the taste. Still not as good as my Bradley BMs but close enough to have as a quick stick. Another three months and theyll be perfect. My only two gripes with these are the bands and caps. The glue makes it almost impossible to peel off and theyre so snug to the wrapper that its nearly impossible to slide off, (this was an issue both before and after cellophane removal, so its not an over humidified problem). I havent come across one where the band is stuck to the wrapper, so thats a plus? Although theres nothing wrong with the cap itself, once youve cut the cap and take your first couple of puffs, youre left with a grainy feel in your mouth like youve sucked some sand out of it? I dont know what thats about but hey ho. But as I said, the first two to three puffs and then thats it, its all clear and its a reasonable, nice 20-30 min smoke with a perfect burn. Just dont let the ash go past an inch or youll be wearing it.
