Talisker 3x5cl Gift Pack

Introducing a stunning tasting gift pack including Single Malts from the amazing Talisker distillery, located on the Isle of Skye.

This set features 3 x 5cl bottles of the following:

- Talisker 10 Year Old
The classic stalwart of the Talisker family, the warm and subtle smokiness of Talisker 10 Year Old should be sampled neat.

- Talisker Skye
Has all the warm, smoky, peppery characteristics loved in the standard Talisker 10 Year Old but they've been turned up a notch.

- Talisker Storm
An easy-drinking Talisker, taking the distillery's classically rugged character and softening it out, while maintaining the smoky and sweet notes the distillery is known for.

Talisker 10 Year Old:
Nose: Thick with pungent smoke. Notes of kippers, seaweed and apples peels later introduce themselves. Fresh and fragrant.
Palate: Full bodied on the palate with huge plumes of smoke and volcanic, peppery peat. An intense kick to it.
Finish: A long finish with barley and lastly malt.

Talisker Skye:
Nose: Sweet with toffees and vanilla, almost grain-like. There is a coastal influence to this Talisker with hints of a sweet Caol Ila with a restrained smoke.
Palate: Honeyed toasted oak with a warming hint from pepper as smoke lingers. Fruit then appears with hints of citrus and finally fennel seeds.
Finish:: Drying with the sweetness calming down, hints of spice and smoke.

Talisker Storm:
Nose: Initially brine, but not as abrupt as the 10 Year Old, and it in fact is quite creamy in comparison. Banana and angel delight with a hint of barbecue and citrus. White pepper then develops towards the bottom of the glass.
Palate: Thick and mouth-coating with wood smoke, brine, and a kick of some chilli heat too.
Finish: Red chilli peppers and the heat is again present along with oak dryness with a hint of embers.
