    Prized for its natural beauty and hardness that can withstand even burning tobacco, the Briar Root is harvested by axe. Carefully selected blocks are then treated before undergoing up to 120 processes by Stanwells skilled craftsmen. 
     
    Refining the shape, sanding, sandblasting and waxing or polishing - these all take a skilled hand and a trained eye. It's this craft process that fuses the individuality of the natural material with the elegance of the Danish design. It's what built their reputation for style and quality, but mainly it's what they enjoy doing. 
     
    Genuine Mediterranean brair root transformed by experienced craftsmen into an elegant Danish design. 
     
    These classic and elegant pipes are of an exceptionally high quality. Characterized by the rare straight grains in the briar wood they are finished with a perfectly fitted sterling silver ring. 
     
    Model 140 : Quarter-bent Dublin with a tapered mouthpiece. Modern in appearance and yet very classic.
