This independent bottling of Ben Nevis was distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2017, at the natural cask strength of 56.2%.
This limited-edition whisky spent 18 years maturing in a Hogshead cask, with only 240 individually numbered bottles released.
An outstanding West Highland malt, from one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, established back in 1825.
In 1989, Ben Nevis was sold to the Japanese distiller Nikka which had been buying malt and grain from the distillery for several years.

Nose: Raisin sweetness and maple syrup with a slight spiciness.
Palate: Rich and smooth, dried fruit notes with a mellow leathery tone.
Finish: Balanced sweet finish.
Adding a few drops of H2O to this whisky opens up the flavours beautifully.
