It is named after George T. Stagg, a key figure in the bourbon industry during the 19th century. Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon is released in limited quantities, contributing to its scarcity and high demand among bourbon enthusiasts.

This nineteenth batch was released in the winter of 2022, matured for close to a decade.
True to form, it comes uncut and unfiltered at a mighty 65% ABV. A generous splash of water helps tame the heat and reveal its depth.
Nose: A complex and intense aroma. Expect rich notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, caramel, and hints of cherries. There is also a subtle presence of tobacco and leather, highlighting the depth of this whisky.
Palate: Full and bold. Velvety waves of vanilla and butterscotch are quickly followed by spicy herbs, oak, and a subtle fruitiness. The 65% alcohol enhances the flavours without being overwhelming, testament to the balance in this bourbon.
Finish: Long, powerful, and memorable. The finish lingers with warm notes of oak, pepper, and a sweet undertone that slowly fades.
