Peated Longrow:
Nose: Salt and a leathery smokiness are present in a maritime combination.
Palate: Light and sweet with notes of grapes and rhubarb, a great contrast to the nose and finishes with a big blast of smoke. Finish: That salty smokiness returns from the nose providing a more than satisfying ending.
12 Year Old Triple-Distilled Hazelburn:
Nose: Pleasant and aromatic with notes of dried fruits, plenty of sherry integration with hints of citrus, toffee and nuts.
Palate: Spicy on the palate, rich with nuts, cocoa oak, coffee with a gentle peat.
Finish: Long. Coffee, spices, citrus and chocolate.
Springbank 10 Year Old:
Nose: Big-bodied with oaked aridity. The peat is present with an earthen rootiness. Notes of exotic fruits and a hint of salinity are also present.
Palate: Full-bodied with a good helping of sweetness. There is a richness to the peat, with a dark nuttiness and a smoke.
Finish: Long and crisp with a tang and a trailing peat with oaked dryness.
