  • Gordon & MacPhail bottles a series of single malt whiskies from one of the world’s most famous distilleries – Macallan. Macallan was first established in 1824 and the distillery itself looks out on some of the finest views of the River Spey.

    Speymalt from Macallan Distillery 2006 Whisky was matured in first fill sherry butts and selected and bottled in 2015 by Gordon & Macphail.

    Macallan performs at the highest level of luxury and taste, and this is yet another bottling in the Speymalt range, by Gordon & Macphail which certainly does not disappoint.
  • Colour: Pale Gold.
    Nose: Delicate sherry influences with sweet Highland toffee and banana aromas. Hints of lemon and peppermint linger. Add a splash of water and the nose becomes lighter with fruity aromas and underlying hints of sweet vanilla.
    Palate: Initially peppery with pear, pineapple and orange peel flavours. Complimented by chocolate and a Brazil nut edge. Add water and present is refreshing grapefruit, strawberry and blueberry flavours which combine with more chocolate.
    Finish: Short to Medium.
