  • Distilled in 1967 at the Macallan distillery and aged in first fill sherry casks, this 1967 was bottled by Gordon and MacPhail as part of the Speymalt range.

    The bottlers describe this as "a big, sherried malt," bottled at 43% ABV.
  • Nose: Full and rich, there is a thick fruit note with petals and barley sugars as toasted cereal emerges.

    Palate: Full and well-balanced with notes of marmalade and winter spice. Fruitcake notes soon develop with tannic, chewy oak and the resin thereof.

    Finish: Long and smooth with oak and dried fruits.
