Nose: Slightly spicy and drying with aromas of toffee apples, honeycomb, linseed oil, and scented tea, which open up into ripe autumn fruits and red berry sharpness. Adding water reveals waxy notes, sweet chestnut, and a hint of charred wood.
Palate: Light, warming, and smooth. It starts sweet with malty and oaty base notes combined with a fresh fruit salad and floral top notes.
Finish: Drying and medium-length, featuring flavours of pears, digestive biscuits, and a delicate touch of aniseed spice.
