Savinelli Paloma 101 Smooth Brown 6mm Filter Fishtail Pipe (SAV1306)

The Savinelli brand of pipes was first introduced by its original creator Achille Savinelli Sr. 

In January 1890, Achille Savinelli's son, Carlo, took over and ran the store for over 50 years where he was able to develop very good relations with his clients. In 1918 Achille Junior was born, and as a young man, Achille began his specialisation in pipe making in the small workshop in the back of the store where he would work on designing and inventing the pipes. It was in that workshop that the first genuine Savinelli pipe came to light. 

When Achille Jr came back from the war, he decided to leave the father’s shop and he started to produce his own pipes. In 1948, he opened the Savinelli factory/workshop. The pipes produced there rapidly began gaining prestige in markets all over the world with their quality.

Using a popular feminine name based on the Spanish for "Dove", Savinelli's Paloma series is characterised by acrylic stems in warm tones of cream, caramel, and chocolate. Offered across six shapes, its smooth options are dressed in a rich chestnut stain, highlighting fine grain, while the rusticated options are stained a deep black hue, with a wealth of crisp texture around the stummel.

Comes complete in a Savinelli box and sleeve.
